More about Anna

Anna is a business owner, a coach, guide, and collaborator who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role. Anna has ridden and raced all over Scotland taking part in events such as the Scottish Enduro Series, Strathpuffer, Fox Hunt and Macavalanch. As mountain biker, surfer, wild swimmer, and lover of the outdoors Anna is someone who thrives on adventure.

Anna grew up riding a bike around the city streets of Edinburgh always feeling drawn to, and at home in the outdoors. After graduating from university with a degree in Biological Sciences, she headed North to the Moray coast for surf and an adventure. It was up here (and after she had her first child), that she started mountain biking; unbeknown that it would become not just her hobby and passion, but her full-time career and lifestyle.

“I’ve been riding, coaching and racing mountain bikes for years. I absolutely love biking and get a real buzz from sharing my passion with others as well as pushing myself physically and mentally when competing. In 2019 I raced the full Scottish Enduro Series, and the (crazy) MacAvalanche, bagging numerous podium places along the way. It’s so much fun!”

“Equally, though, I know what it feels like to be a beginner, and if that’s you, don’t be worried about getting involved. That’s what drives my desire to coach. Sharing knowledge and passion for riding bikes is hugely rewarding.”
