1806 pump clipWe’re bringing you two new beers this month; a classic Scottish stout, and a port cask finish edition of our cask aged Wolf of Glen Moray.

The stout, “1806”, is named after the year in which our home town of Lossiemouth tragically lost all its men folk in a freak storm on the bleakest of Christmas Days. This 5.0% classic dark ale is as black as they come, smooth and silky on the mouth, rich in coffee flavour with a roasted barley finish. Available in cask and minikeg from Friday 26th February.

The Wolf of Glen Moray is our range of limited edition ales aged in freshly emptied Glen Moray whisky casks. This is the first edition aged in a port cask used by Glen Moray to create their Port Cask Finish Whisky. Six months in the making, the Wolf has matured with plump summer fruits on the nose, fruit flavours through the dark chocolate malt and a refined warm finish. There are just 1,750 330ml bottles, all individually numbered and packaged in a branded cardboard tube. Available from Friday 26th February.

Both beers are being launched at Craft Beer Rising at the Old Truman Brewery in London on Friday 26th February. They will also be available to buy in the brewery shop from Friday 26th February and we’ll be doing tastings of both beers in-house on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th February.
