Hurricane, our session IPA, gives 5 pence from every pint purchased to the RAF Benevolent Fund. Thanks to all our amazing customers, this has become one of our most popular brews and allows us to donate each year to support this charity.

The RAF Benevolent Fund provides a range of support aimed at serving and former RAF personnel and their dependants. This includes welfare breaks, grants to help with financial difficulty and getting about inside and outside the home, specialist advice on benefits and care needs, as well as support for young people through their Airplay programme. Here are just a few of the stories:

Andrew Stevens was supported by the RAF Benevolent Fund through their Listening and Counselling service to battle his OCD condition. 

Joanna Martin suffered a life changing accident during a training exercise whilst serving as a nurse in the RAF. The charity help to adapt her home to enable her to live independently.

John Wright’s son, Lewis, was born with a range of specialist needs. The fund has supported the family over the last 11 years including providing a grant for an electric wheel chair.
