We had an award winning night at the Scottish Beer awards 2019.

Short-listed in 9 different categories and fighting it out against 45 other Scottish breweries for the top spots – the competition was fierce! In the end it was our two Stouts that caught the eye of the judges.

BEAR, a barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout, won Gold in the Best Barrel-Aged category. This 10.5% beast of a beer, is velvety smooth and pitch black, rich in bitter chocolate and espresso flavours.

1806, our classic Scottish Stout, won Bronze in the Best Stout category. Made with five different malts, this is super smooth with coffee flavours and a good roasted barley finish.

This national, independent competition was judged this year by a panel of 35 experts drawn from across the sector, bringing together industry experience and market knowledge to recognise the greatest achievements in the brewing sector in Scotland.  The array of talented brewers on show just confirm that the Scottish Beer industry is in great health brimming with quality beers and lots of creativity.
