Following the success of our spring beer, Aurora, we proudly present a fresh and fruity brew for the summer – Marooned, a blackcurrant wheat beer, ABV 5.2%.
The blackcurrant gives the beer a beautiful and distinctive maroon colour and creates a delicious marriage of sharp fruit flavours with the sweet malt of the wheat beer.
If you’re heading to the CAMRA Aberdeen Beer Festival at Pittodrie Stadium on 4-6 June, you’ll find we’re this year’s featured brewery. We’ve timed the release of our summer brew to give festival goers the first taste of our take on a continental style fruit beer. Last year we scooped Beer of the Festival for Weizen, will we retain our title?
Other places you’ll be able to sample Marooned in the coming weeks include The Old Mill at Brodie, Prince of Wales in Aberdeen, the Pitmedden Music Festival, and the Jolly Judge, Guildford Arms and Bow Bar in Edinburgh.
